Worcester is a beautiful town located on the banks of the River Severn, Britain’s longest. It is rich in history and is ideal for your children to spend an unforgettable summer!

The half-timbered terraced houses, the colleges, the gardens with English grass, and the characteristic premises make this place precious for the whole country; dominating the whole is the red sandstone Cathedral which dates back to the 11th century and where King John is buried (Robin Hood’s bad king!).

You can admire, among other things, the Fort Royal Park where the battles of the English Civil War took place, and the Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum which houses unique collections of contemporary art in a magnificent Victorian building. Noteworthy also for the royal porcelain, still produced in the city, and for the famous Worcester sauce, sweet and sour and slightly spicy: mouth-watering!

The City Campus of the University of Worcester enjoys a strategic position, just a few minutes’ walk from the center.

The campus has several outdoor spaces for sports and recreational activities, spacious and bright classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, a library, and a canteen.

It is also possible to use the University of Worcester Arena for practicing various sports.

This is what our students will discover in the One Take Movie course, a unique experience in the art of cinema, dedicated to young directors from 14 to 17 years old.

Incorporating both theory and practice, our courses will teach students how to use equipment and work on a set, providing a clear understanding of the fundamentals of film art. At the end of our course, students will have written, filmed, and edited a high-quality video… in one take! All films made in the One Take Movie course will be premiered on the school’s YouTube channel and participate in the Film Festival November 2024.
